10th April 2005
Robert Key, Conservative MP for Salisbury opened MAG's Salisbury bike show following the groupıs annual General conference in the city by backing MAG’s Bikers Are Voters campaign.
Mr Key, who once accepted an invitation from MAG to ride pillion on a memberıs bike through the Wiltshire countryside, spoke warmly about motorcyclists, describing us as the 'Greenest powered transport users in the country' .
Before leaving the show Mr Key signed up as a member of the Motorcycle Action Group as, though not a rider himself, he agrees with MAG's objectives.
